Comparaison entre ex et x en + ∞
On a vu que la fonction exp est strictement croissante sur et tend vers quand x tend vers . On va montrer qu'elle croît « très vite » : plus vite que , pour tout entier .
Pour formaliser cela, on étudie la limite , qui est une forme indéterminée .
