Deutsch: Einfacher Homopolarmotor English: Construction of a simple homopolar electric motor. A neodymium disk magnet is attached to a ferromagnetic screw that is suspended (by magnetic attraction) to one end of an NiMh cell. A wire connects the other terminal of the battery to the edge of the magnet, completing the circuit. A small sheet of paper is attached for better visualisation
Polski: Budowa prostego silnika jednobiegunowego (homopolarnego). Magnes neodymowy w kształcie walca jest połączony z wkrętem z materiału ferromagnetycznego, który dzięki przyciaganiu magnetycznemu jest połączony z jednym z biegunów ogniwa NiMH. Przewód łączy drugi biegun ogniwa z krawędzią magnesu, zamykając tym samym obwód elektryczny.
Čeština: Konstrukce jednoduchého elektrického homopolárního motorku. Neodymový diskový magnet je připojen k feromagnetickému šroubu, který je zavěšen (magneticky) na jeden konec nikl hydridovéno akumulátoru. Drát se připojí k druhému pólu baterie a obvod je tak uzavřen.
